An ideal halfway stop between Castle Stalker and The Sealife Centre, The Creagan is situated in one of the most beautiful areas of the Argyll west coast. Creagan is surrounded by many places of historical and cultural interest and many family-friendly tourist attractions. Steeped in the history of the Appin Stewarts and nearby Castle Stalker, Robert Louis Stevenson based his novels Catriona and Kidnapped on the story of the murder of The Red Fox of Glen Ure in the Appin area. With darkening clouds glowering over the mountains slinking down to meet the swirling mist rising from the sea, it is easy to see the magic and mystique of this amazing area.
